The White Pigeon Village Council will hold their regular meeting and a public hearing on Wednesday, March 18th, 2026 starting at 6:00pm at the Village Hall, 103 S Kalamazoo St, White Pigeon. The public hearing will address the Village’s proposed budget for fiscal year 2026-2027. THE PROPERTY TAX MILLAGE RATE PROPOSED TO BE LEVIED TO SUPPORT THE PROPOSED BUDGET WILL BE A SUBJECT OF THIS HEARING. MCL 141.412

The White Pigeon Village Planning Commission will hold a meeting and public hearing on Monday, March 16th, 2026 starting at 7:00pm at the Village Hall, 103 S Kalamazoo St, White Pigeon. Please use the rear, north door entrance. If you have questions, please call the Village office at 269.483.7044.

The meeting will address the site plan review for The Haven of White Pigeon LLC and their proposed development at 115 S Kalamazoo St – parcel ID# 045-040-049-00 for a community center.

The White Pigeon Village Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a meeting and public hearing on Monday, March 16th, 2026 starting at 5:30pm at the Village Hall, 103 S Kalamazoo St, White Pigeon. The Council of White Pigeon Village will hold a special meeting on Tuesday, February 17th, 2026 at 3:00 PM. The purpose of the meeting is a work session to study the annual budget audit and deliberate the 2026-2027 budget. Work sessions are open to the public and minutes are recorded. No decisions are made or voted upon at a work session. The special meeting will be held at the Village Hall, 103 South Kalamazoo Street. Please use the rear, north door entrance. White Pigeon Village and White Pigeon Community Schools have an opening for a Crossing Guard at US 12 and Lincoln St. starting Jan 5, 2026.

Hours:

• Mon-Thurs 7:00-7:45 AM and 3:00-3:30 PM
• Friday- 8:00-8:45 AM and 3:00-3:30 PM
• Half school days- 7:00-7:45 AM and 11:00-11:30 AM (no late start on Fridays)

Pay is $30 per day.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
Interested applicants must submit a letter of interest or application by December 8, 2025
Applications are available at the village office.

Village SUMMER TAXES are due this Monday, Sept 15, 2025.
You can stop by the office until 5PM or put them in the drop envelope slot on the front of the Village Office building.
If you plan on mailing them, make sure they are postmarked the 15th or Late Fees will be applied.

The Village of White Pigeon Council will hold their regular meeting on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at 6 PM. This meeting was rescheduled due to severe weather on June 18, 2025. If you have questions please call the Village Office @ 269-483-7044.

The Village has completed its scheduled hydrant flushing program as of June 12, 2025. Hydrant flushing is an important part of maintaining the water system by removing sediment and ensuring proper water flow. We thank all residents for their patience and understanding while this work was completed.

Trucks both have dump boxes and belly blades. The dump boxes are in rough shape and the belly blade on the 1991 hydraulic line are broke. Both trucks motors run strong.
