WHITE PIGEON VILLAGE COUNCIL NOTICE
Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes and Energy (EGLE) Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) Phase II and Phase III Water Systems Improvements Project
TO ALL INTERESTED AGENCIES, GROUPS AND PERSONS:
The Village of White Pigeon will host a public hearing on June 17th, 2020, 7:00 pm, at the regular council meeting located at the Village Office at 103 S Kalamazoo St., White Pigeon, MI, for the following:
Items to be discussed during public hearing:
- A description of drinking water quality needs, problems, and alternatives to be addressed by the proposed project.
- A description of the recommended alternatives, including a cost breakdown by project components.
- A discussion of project financing and costs to users, including the proposed method of financing and any rate change.
- A description of the anticipated social and environmental impacts associated with the alternatives and the measures taken to mitigate those impacts.
Comments or questions may be presented via email to the Village Office email address, electronically through any Village social media outlet, or by writing to the Village Hall prior to the meeting. The DWSRF Project Plan (PP) will also be on hand at the Village Office for all interested agencies, groups and persons. All interested persons are invited to attend and give comment.”
