EGLE DWSRF Booker Grant Project #7632-01 – Water System Improvement Project (Phase II)

The Project includes the following work items:

– Replacement and reconnection of up to 266 service laterals to the Village water distribution system.

Bids will be received for a single prime Contract.  Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, as indicated in the Bid Form. The full Advertisement for Bids and contact information can be downloaded here:

Sealed Bid Proposals are invited and may be delivered at the Owner’s office at 103 S Kalamazoo Street, White Pigeon, MI 49099 or forwarded by registered mail, addressed to the Village Office at PO Box 621, White Pigeon, MI 49099; Attn: Tyler Royce, Village President, until 4:00 p.m. local time, on August 3rd, 2022.  Bids for the construction project (“Bids”) will then be opened and publicly read aloud at 7:00 p.m. local time on August 3rd, 2022 by the Village President at the public meeting located at the Owner’s meeting space at 404 S St. Joseph Street, White Pigeon, MI 49099.

This Project will be completed in conjunction with a separately bid Project to improve the water distribution system.  The Bidder for this lateral service line replacement portion will be required to coordinate construction schedules and service connection efforts with the contractor of the water distribution system portion.

A Pre-Bid meeting will be held on July 12th at 10am at the meeting space at 404 S St. Joseph Street, White Pigeon, MI 49099.  An additional virtual meeting will be held the week of July 25th.
