NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
TO: THE RESIDENTS AND PROPERTY OWNERS OF VILLAGE OF WHITE PIGEON,
ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, MICHIGAN AND ALL OTHER INTERESTED PERSONS.
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Village of White Pigeon Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a
meeting and public hearing on, April 24, 2023, commencing at 6:00 P.M. at the
White Pigeon Village Train Depot Hall, 406 S. St. Joseph St. White Pigeon, Mi. 49099 to consider the
following:
1. Request from Muhammad Akram 30761 Redfield St. Niles, Mi. 49120 for the following
at the property located at 833 W. Chicago Rd. White Pigeon, Mi. 49099 a/k/a/ 75–045–
777–502–36, 75–045–777–502–37, 75–045–777–502–40.
a. Variance from Secion 250 1501 as it relates to sign regulations.
The Zoning Board of Appeals reserves the right to consider other determinations that may arise from
futher discussions
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that copies of the Village Zoning Ordinance, the application, and
the decision of the zoning administrator will be available at the hearing or may be viewed or purchased
prior to the hearing by contacting the Village Clerk, Kent Pletcher at 269-483-7044 , or the Village
Zoning Administrator, Douglas Kuhlman at 269–651–3130.
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that the White PIgeon Village Zoning Board of Appeals will
address any business or agenda items presented.
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that the White Pigeon Village Zoning Board of Appeals reserves
the right to recommend approval of, denial of, or modifications to the proposed request.
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that public comment regarding this request will be received in
writing at the address below: may be presented to the Zoning Board of Appeals at the meeting, or may
be directed to the Zoning Board of Appeals care of the Zoning Administrator Douglas Kuhlman by
contacting him at 269–651–3130.Written comments concerning the above matter may be submitted to the
White Pigeon Village Zoning Administrator at any time prior to the public hearing and may further be
submitted to the Village Zoning Administrator at the public hearing.
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE White Pigeon Village will provide necessary reasonable auxiliary
aids and services at the hearing to individuals with disabilities, such as signers for the hearing impaired
and audio tapes of printed materials being considered, upon seventy–two (72) notice to the Village Clerk
of the need for the same.
